Mahogeny clamp pad with felt contact pushes into position and secures with rubber grip knob. New aluminum push plate makes wing clamping easy.

Model 6 incorporates two knobs on the main column. Top knob locks the inner column to the base. Lower sliding knob allows the gas spring position to be held independently. The preferred height position is retained between usage.
New robust pivot design for Model 6 includes a Belville spring to provide continuous pivot tension and zero freeplay. New saddle stop design employs an eccentric cam for one-time adjustment.
